K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools. The K-Lite Codec Pack is designed as a user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files.

Tips:
1) Select Full installation at drop down list
Upon successful installation configure (Recommended) as follows:
a) Run its Media Player
b) Click View\Options
i) Player-Check "Open a new player for each media file played.
ii) Playback- Check"Auto Zoom" & Select Auto Fit"
iii) Playback\Output - Check "VMR 9 renderless**" "Direct X 9**" "Direct X 9**"
for the option of saving image from movie. IF ANY FILE DOES NOT PLAY RESET TO "Overlay Mixer*" "System Default*" "System Default*"
Restart for changes.
iv) Internal Filters\Audio Switcher- Check the following:
Enable built-in audio switcher filter
Normalize Regain Volume
Adjust "Slide Volume" more to the right.
Down-sample to 44100 Hz
To set Windows Media Player as the default for all codecs Plus additional Audio Codecs

Install this standalone version of Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 player if you experienced problem in opening the included MPC in K Lite Codec Pack. Uninstall the later & reinstall all codecs without selecting its optional MPC. Then unzip downloaded standalone version to unzip. Copy or move unzipped folder to (suggesting) C:\ directory. Then open the folder and create shortcut to move to Desktop or All Users 's Start Menu.
