This excellent documentary provides a huge amount of factual objective background-information which is essential in order to understand 911's part of the bigger picture. It also splendidly covers all the flaws in the official story, the laws of physics who clearly prove the twin towers were brought down by controlled demolition and most other relevant information regarding what really happened 11. September 2001.
The immensity of the information presented may be hard to understand if you have low brain-capacity or spend more than three hours daily dumbing yourself down with FOX News, CNN, NRK, BBC or other conically lying "news outlets" designed propagandize you, compartmentalize your mind and reduce your ability to think down to a four year olds. Daily viewers of such "news outlets" will likely benefit from staying away from TV at least a week before viewing this documentary.
MTV viewers, who likely have a low attention span due to their 3-seconds pr. camera view mind-control programming techniques, are encouraged to stay away from TV at least a month before watching this video.
Take pauses while viewing or view the documentary twice with a weeks pause between if you are unable to contemplate the information presented.
The information within this documentary is highly relevant and extremely important.
What makes this video different than all the rest of the 911 videos I have seen is that after the initial examination of the evidence is over, George provides a philosophical framework and helpful suggestions regarding what we should do to remedy the situation. Rather than leaving the audience to deal with the depressing details on their own, George does his best to paint a positive picture that the situation can be changed if we change the way we think about things. George's video isn't as technical, detailed or hostile as the other films out there, but his has a spiritual message to it that I have not seen anywhere else. This is the video I would choose to present to a prayer, meditation or buddhist type of group instead of the grouchy "Police State Gonna Getcha" style films that appeal more to paranoids and paramilitary types. It's a film that doesn't hide the details but carries a much more positive message along with it.

Broadband Speed bits and bytes
Some of the confusion is down to the difference between bits and bytes. 8 bits = 1 byte. You've been moved onto a line that should be good for 5Mbps (Megabits per second) or 5120Kbps. That's 0.625MBps (MegaBytes per second) or 640KBps, as 5120Kb is 640KB (5120 divided by 8 to convert bits to Bytes). Notice lower-case b for bits, and upper-case B for Bytes.
A speedtest result of 800Kbps = 100KBps. A result of 1500Kbps = 187.5KBps. The maximum figure there is close to what you'd get on a 1.5Mbit connection. As a comparison, I'm on an ADSL line rated at 1Mbit. That's 1024Kbps which is 128KBps. So in theory I should be able to download and do speed tests and get a 128KBps transfer rate, or if it gives it in bits, a 1024Kbps rate. In fact, distance from the exchange and other factors means I often get a rate of 110KBps maximum. Close enough for me.
If you were taking full advantage of a 5Mbit connection, you'd be getting around 5000Kbps tranfer rate or >600KBps. The rating of a line and what you actually get are two different things. As shown by my line being rated as a 1Mbit but in fact I don't ever get quite that high with my transfer speeds. You clearly aren't even getting close though. In fact, you're not even as close to the 2Mbit line you originally had as I'd expect you to be, and would want myself. Seems you're approaching the limit of a 1.5Mbit line at best.
The download at 300KBps (not bits) indicates a tranfer rate at that time of 2400Kbps or >2.3Mbit. Not really approaching what you'd expect from a 5Mbit connection, but better than you'd ever get on a 2Mbit rated line, of course.
Use http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/dual_load.php for download and upload speed tests. Seems pretty accurate. Do the Smartest, it's the best option.
Apparently, you can expect to lose around 13% of your stated line speed due to ATM/TCP overheads. So to work out what transfer rate you should expect to get, you can deduct 13% from the stated line speed. My 1Mbit connection which is 1024Kbits (1Mbit = 1024Kbits, 1Kbit = 1024 bits) when changed to KBytes gives a line speed of 128KBps. If I deduct 13% I get 111KBps which is about the transfer rate I get under normal circumstances.
In the case of 5120Kbps = 640KBps. 640 minus 13% = 556KBps. You're getting 89.5KBps (716Kbps). That's only 16% of the maximum transfer rate you should reasonably expect on a 5Mbit line.
My modem shows connected at downstream 1024Kbps and upstream at 320Kbps. Which, taking into account the 13% loss, I do actually get. If I introduce some noise into the phoneline by connecting a telephone without a microfilter attached, my downstream speed shown in the modem drops considerably, as the error rate increases, etc., effectively slowing the line down, but I don't know how it shows a lower speed, because unfortunately I don't know how the modem detects line speed. It doesn't seem to just be a preset signal from the ISP telling it what the line speed should be, because it lowers if the noise margin on the line is bad. Maybe someone else can enlighten me on this matter?

Follow the guidelines they give afterwards for your setup and see if that improves anything. Your speeds do seem to vary a great deal... maybe it's just the speed test sites under load or your connection has a high contention ratio and is suffering from varying load?

This tutorial will show you how to take, format, and prepare your own passport photos. Rather than repeating what is already provided, please see the guidelines provided by the US Department of State. These will provide you with information regarding proper lighting, exposure, composition, and size. If you live in another country, please check for guidelines at your passport issuing authority as they will likely differ. For example, in Canada the final size can be as large as 70mm by 50mm, however, it appears as though they require a photo from a professional although that is not absolutely clear. Enough of this, let's get one with the process as it pertains to US requirements.
The original photo 
Once you have taken your photo and are happy with the expression and lighting, it's time to make sure the sizes are correct. In the guidelines, it says that the trimmed photo must measure 2 inches by 2 inches and the distance from the chin to the top of the hair must be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inch. So the first thing to do is to measure the distance between the chin and the top of the head. This is done with the measuring tool.

We're going to use Photoshop's Measure Tool to measure the distance of interest. The measure tool is hidden under the eye dropper. Click-and-hold on the eye dropper to reveal a pop-out menu and select the ruler at the bottom. Or, press Shift+I on your keyboard to cycle through the icons until the measure icon ruler appears.
Measure the distance from the chin to the top of the head

Using the Measure Tool, draw a line from the chin to the top of the head. (HINT: Holding the shift key while dragging the line will force it to either vertical or horizontal) In the title bar, you will notice three values. The angle "A", the vertical distance "D1", and the horizontal distance "D2". We are interested in the vertical distance which, in this case, is 582 pixels. Now it's time for some math. The distance should be between 1 and 1-3/8 inch, I will use 1.1 inches. Now divide the 582 pixels by 1.1 inches to determine you DPI. In this case, we get 529 DPI (I'll use 530 for simplicity). Since the final photo will be 2"x2", the size of the image will be 1060 pixels by 1060 pixels. (TIP: Many commercial printers will actually increase the size of you picture slightly so that the image bleeds to the edge of the print. If you set the distance to 1-3/8 inch you risk going over the allowed size when printing.)

Choose the marquee select tool from the toolbar. Once the tool is selected, you will see a drop down menu in the title bar allowing you to select a style. Select the Fixed Size option and set the width and height options to 1060 pixels by 1060 pixels (use the values you calculated in the previous step). Then position the box so that the subject's nose is in the center. This will ensure that the eyes are within 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 inches from the bottom. Once the square is positioned, hit CTRL-C to copy the image.
Creating a 4x6 template
In the File menu, select New and set the Preset Size to 4x6 and the Resolution to 530 DPI (use your value), then click OK. This will open a new document with the correct aspect ratio to print a 4x6 and the correct resolution to ensure the photos will be the correct size.
Paste your passport photos to the template

Hit CTRL-V (or select paste from the top menu) to place the photo onto the template. Move the photo to the top. Repeat for the second photo and move it to the bottom. As I mentioned before, commercial printing services may slightly resize your image so make sure the images are not on the edge. You may loose part of it. You are now ready to save the file and sent it to the printer.
The final product
Once you get the photo printed use a trimmer to cut the images to 2"x2" and submit them with your passport application. I printed mine on a Kodak Instant print machine, but if you have a good enough photo printer at home, you could probably use that. Check the State Department website for digital printing information.

- Use a light source to illuminate background behind subject to avoid shadows in background.

How to Open MDI (Microsoft Document Imaging) Format with Office 2007
A high resolution, tag-based graphics format. .MDI files are only supported by the Microsoft Office 2003 version of Microsoft
Office Document Imaging. If you are going to share files with people who are using Office Document Imaging 2002, or another
document imaging program, it's best if you save your files in TIFF format for compatibility.
When you double-click an .mdi file in Windows Explorer, the file does not open in the Microsoft Office Document Imaging
program as expected. Instead, you receive the following error message:

Click "Save" & go to options for download save path.
Click pause to resume at a later time.
You may close the firefox browser & continue downloading at a later time.
To resume just open Firefox browser & repeat steps at * above.

Which DVD / CD format: ISO or UDF?
Brief: An ISO image is an archive file (also known as a disk image) of an optical disc in a format defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9660 file system images (ISO images) are a common way to electronically transfer the contents of CD-ROMs. The name ISO is taken from the ISO 9660 file system used with CD-ROM media, but an ISO image can also contain UDF file system because UDF is backward-compatible with ISO 9660. DVDs may also use the ISO 9660 file system. However, the UDF file system is more appropriate on DVDs since it offers better support for the larger media and is better suited for modern operating systems needs. ISO image is an unattached file format (like RAR and ZIP): it merges a series of files into one single file according to a definite format. The most important feature of an ISO image is that it can be burned to a DVD, VCD, or CD by using an ISO image burner, like ISO Maker. It can also be opened using archivers such as 7-zip file manager.
Some users have reported that video DVDs burned on their computers in UDF version 1.5 are not compatible with their set-top video DVD players. These players seem to be only compatible with UDF version 1.02 (that provides both UDF and ISO 9660 directories.) As some popular DVD burning programs default to UDF version 1.5 when burning video DVDs, users have found it necessary to avoid using the software wizard and instead manually configure the burn to version 1.02.

Brief introduction to DVD / CD format
The hard drive format is consusing enough: in PC alone there are FAT, FAT32, and NTFS format, then MAC have a complete different format; while DVD / CD format is much simpler, there are still a few different file systems, so how to choose the right DVD / CD format to ensure greatest compatibility by other DVD / CD drive or DVD players become a problem for amateurs. The most widely used format is ISO 9660, UDF file system is also popular in DVD discs, MPV is the latest file system just appearing in the market and are gaining popularity gradually. (A file system is a structure that organizes large numbers of files on some sort of storage medium such as hard disk drive, CD, and DVD)
ISO vs. UDF
ISO 9660 have been used as the main CD format for many years now. Most of the CD nowsdays still use this format, the benefit of this format is that it is readable by all CD drive or CD player, and can be shared between PC and MAC. Universal Disk Format (UDF) is a newer file system for CD and DVDdeveloped and managed by the Optical Storage Technology Association as the successor to the ISO 9660 standard. UDF overcomes limitations of ISO 9660 and redirectors such as CDFS. UDF is used to ensure compatibility across platforms, as well as among various CD and DVD applications. UDF is required for DVDs, and is used by DVD to contain MPEG audio/video streams, UDF is also used by CD-R and CD-RW in a process called packet writing that makes CD writing more efficient in terms of the time and disk space required.
Different revisions of UDF
UDF have many different revisions, from revision 1.0, 1.02, 1.5, 2.0, to 2.01, and revision 1.02 is specified for use by DVD drives, difference between these revisions are available from OSTA website. UDF 1.02 is the 'most' compatible file system. When you choose to creat a DVD to play video and choose UDF/ISO, UDF 1.02 will be used ( by the burning software ) to ensure best compatibility. But if you choose DVD-Video mode when you burn a DVD, the default format is UDF 1.5 format, not 1.02, which might cause it not readable by other DVD drives and DVD players.
MPV
MPV is the lasted file system developed and promoted by OSTA. MPV enables PCs and consumer electronics products like DVD players to exchange and playback collections of digital photos, video, and music, it supports browsing, playing, and printing multimedia collections. Conclusion
If you are creating DVD / CD movie or music for sharing with friends, so you 'd better stick to the most comptiable format: UDF 1.02. If you are just back up the DVD or files, then you can consider other advanced files systems like UDF2.0 or even MPV

Camcorders
A camcorder is a portable electronic device for recording video images and audio onto an internal storage device.Digital Video (DV) is a digital video format launched in 1994, and, in its smaller tape form factor MiniDV.Digital Tapeless: Low-end digital tapeless systems often use an MPEG-4 codec and flash memory; high-end versions, on the other hand, store video data to hard disk or optical disc.DVD (with the biggest market increases): Uses either Mini DVD-R or DVD-RAM. This is a multi-manufacturer standard that uses 8 cm DVD discs for 30 minutes of video.
A progressive scanning digital video camera records each frame as distinct, with both fields being identical. Thus, interlaced video captures twice as many fields per second as progressive video does when both operate at the same number of frames per second. This is one of the reasons video has a “hyper-real” look, because it draws a different image 60 times per second, as opposed to film, which records 24 or 25 progressive frames per second.
Progressive scan camcorders such as the Panasonic DVX100 are generally more desirable because of the similarities they share with film.
Consumers are racing to replace their aging televisions with high-definition TVs. Trouble is, many are still using devices and services that can't fill those HDTVs with enough visual information to make them look their best.

.MOD file extension
Latest as at March 2009: TMPGEnc XPress 4.6.3.268 supports encoding in high Definition video from your camcorder such as JVC.

You will find .MOD file extension is unacceptable by Nero or other programs in making Video on CD. You will need to covert it to AVI first for VCD & DVD .
These files are sometimes produced with small .MOI files which contain time stamp information. These files a simply MPEG-2 formatted video, saved with the .MOD file extension. This application is intended for the purpose of batch renaming of file extensions. This can be achieved with any file extension and can be changed from anything to anything. Its primary function was for renaming the files that Imscan produces into .tif files.

Once the files are transferred to your PC, go to 'my computer'. Find the files. Now find the .mod file(s) that you just uploaded.
Open the prism converter. Drag and drop the file(s)into the prism converter, one at a time. To get the file from .mod to .avi, the prism free video converter will recognize this and have to update itself. (if you've got cable, its really quick) The program also wants to know the 'destiny' of the convertion. Browse til you find the folder you created on your desktop. Add it. Then click on 'convert'.
